Nuku'alofa, Tonga : A $35 million pa’anga Youth Employment Project financed by the World Bank to be handled by the Government of Tonga starting in July 2017, will see funds disbursed over four-years to address youth unemployment in Tonga where the problems of idle youth are enormous and related to youth related anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.

Nuku'alofa, Tonga : "Use antibiotics responsibly" is the theme of a World Antibiotics Awareness Week launched in Nuku’alofa on Monday, November 14 to raise awareness about the serious health issue of antibiotic resistance. Tonga's doctors pointed out that misuse of antibiotics is not only dangerous but also costly and urged Tongans to adopt better hygiene to help fight the spread of infectious diseases. Madrid, Spain : The ‘Ikale Tahi have won their first European test match, defeating Spain 28 – 13. The determined Spaniards gave the boys a run for their money, and were leading 3 – 0 in the 30th minute of the match.
