Tonga will play in the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship in Tahiti later this year after an impressive 16-0 victory over American Samoa on the last day of qualifying action in Nuku’alofa. Tonga will join the seven other nations already qualified.

Moana Pasifika announced today that they will not play the Chiefs this month in Nuku'alofa. The team have been forced to relocate the fixture to Pukekohe due to a number of logistical challenges. Moana Pasifika CEO Debbie Sorensen said, “It’s sad to say that we can’t make it happen [in Tonga] this time.”
