Hingano returns as halfback after recovering from a shoulder injury that resulted in him sitting out last weekend’s test match against the British Lions.

The Tonga Supreme Court yesterday, 28 October, dissolved an injunction order issued against the newly established Tonga Ma’a Tonga Rugby League Inc. (TMTRL) and the Tongan Government. This was after the plaintiff, the Tonga National Rugby League (TNRL), agreed to withdraw from legal proceedings on the basis that the Tonga Government reconsider its decision to endorse the TMTRL.

In order for Tonga Invitational to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition, they will need to achieve two landslide victories over their remaining pool opponents Toa Samoa and Fiji Bati, and hope that the Cook Islands lose at least once.
