PC Tauvaka will compete in the heptathlon, across seven combined events including the 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter run, 800-meter run, high jump, long (broad) jump, shot put, and javelin throw.

Kite foiler, JJ Rice, from Tonga, is now competing at the "2024 Formula Kite World Championships" in Hyères in the South of France from 13 to 19 May. This is the last big regatta before kiteboarding makes its Olympic debut at Paris 2024. JJ came 8th in the Oceania Olympic qualifiers last December, earning him a spot at the summer Olympics.
