ATS is the local Tongan Private Sector company incorporated / registered under the laws of Tonga (Companies Act 1995) – and which carries out International Ground Handling services in both Fua’amotu International Airport and Lupepau’u International Airport. under contract with Tonga Airports Limited (a Government of Tonga Public Enterprise) and under the general oversight of the Civil Aviation Division of the Government of Tonga Ministry of Infrastructure.
1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The CEO is the accountable executive responsible for all ATS operations, reporting to the Board of Directors and international aviation stakeholders. This role provides strategic direction, ensures compliance, and oversees financial and operational activities.
2. General Manager – Operations
Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager – Operations is responsible for planning and executing international airport ground handling operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and alignment with company policies and vision.
3. Accounting Officer
The Accounting Officer supports the accounts department, maintains effective filing and data storage, and assists in meeting financial outputs under the direction of the Finance and Accounts team.
