Tonga Power Limited is a Public Enterprise responsible for the generation, distribution, and supply of electricity to consumers in Tonga. Applicants are invited to apply for the following position:

S/No. Position Minimum Requirements
1. Deputy Finance Manager (Tongatapu)
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management, including experience in a senior role.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement strategy.
  • Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills.
  • Experience working with vendor management or procurement software systems.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
2. Junior Line Mechanic (Network Distribution Tongatapu
  • Secondary level education (high school or equivalent)
  • Basic training or certificate in Electrical, Line Mechanic, or related field.
  • Valid driver’s licence (manual preferred)
  • Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in electrical, construction, or similar field
3. Faults Operator (Tongatapu)
  • Completed at least secondary school education (Form 6 or equivalent).
  • Some work experience or demonstrated interest in Customer Service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in both Tongan and English (written and verbal).
4. Maintenance Scheduler (Tongatapu)
  • A formal qualification of Project Management, Business, or Maintenance Work Management from a recognised institute is desirable.
  • At least 2 years in a project management or maintenance task execution role
  • Possess good leadership and highly analytical.
