Nuku'alofa, Tonga : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration Division has confiscated the passports of some Tongans who are allowed dual citizenship by second countries. An exception is for people born overseas to Tongan fathers and they may hold dual citizenship because this category is currently not covered under the current legislation. They were named as: Hon. William Clive Edwards, the Minister of Police, Prisons and Fire Services; the Hon. Dr Masasso Paunga, Minister of Labour Commerce and Industries; and Hon.
