Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Filipe Tongamoa (20) was jailed for dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm to his passenger, who was on life support for six-days. The court heard that Tongamoa was drunk when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed on Hihifo Road in 2022. He hurt his passengers and another driver.Premium content

Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Tonga's Prime Minister acknowledged the strong commitment of Tonga's development partners and donors and said financial assistance is still needed to ensure a prosperous Tonga, on opening the Development Partners Forum 2023, on 28 February. He said Government’s additional financing needs in the medium term are estimated at $84.5 million pa'anga in 2023-24, $88.3m in 2024-25, and $79.5m in 2025-26.Premium content
