Fua'amotu ,Tonga : Tonga's first tropical cyclone alert for the year is now in force for Niuafo'ou, Niuatoputapu, Vava'u and Ha'apai groups. A strong wind warning remains in force for the rest of Tonga. Tropical Cyclone Wilma (Category 1) center was located about 600km northeast of Niuatoputapu or about 850km north northeast of Vava'u at 10:00am on Sunday 24 January.
