VEHICLE TENDER NOTICE
Tenders are invited for purchase of the British High Commission’s Toyota Prado SUV.
Details of the vehicle are as follows:

TENDER DOCUMENT
- Sealed Tenders are hereby invited on behalf of the British High Commission Nuku’alofa for the purchase of the white 2019 Toyota Prado
- The Sealed Tender should be labelled “UKHC Toyota Prado – 2026” and delivered to the Reception of the New Zealand High Commission.
- The closing date will be 6th May 2026 at 4:00pm. Late Tenders (i.e. tenders received after the specified closing time) will not be considered.
- Please note, the vehicle is in good condition but the unit is offered AS IS, WHERE IS.
- The Tender should be submitted with the bidder’s letterhead/details and any accompanying sheets should carry the bidder’s name and signature.
- Should be neatly printed. Overwriting/corrections/erasures will not be considered.
- The offer will be considered as firm, as conditional offers will not be considered.
- All offers will be considered, but the British High Commission reserves the right to not accept any tender or terminate the tender process at its discretion.
- Bidders who do not agree with the above Terms and conditions may, of course, not submit their tender.
PRICE RESERVE
- There is a price reserve though all firm offers will be considered.
GUARANTEE/WARRANTY
- There is no Guarantee/Warranty - The vehicle is in good condition and until recently was being used as a British High Commission pool vehicle. However, the unit is offered “AS IS, WHERE IS”.
- The vehicle has been de-registered and any duty & taxes adjudged by the local authority to be due will be the responsibility of the buyer (not applicable for a buyer who has diplomatic privileges).
REVIEW OF TENDER OFFERS
- All offers received will be kept sealed until the tender closing date and opened in one session by a panel of two British High Commission staff to ensure transparency and due process.
- The successful Tender will be notified by the 11th May 2026 and once payment is confirmed, the vehicle must be removed from the Residence within 7 days.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
- By international bank transfer to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s UK account or direct credit to the British High Commission ANZ Account within 7 days of notification as successful Bidder.
