Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Women's businesses were showcased tonight at the annual pre-Christmas WISE Market Night, held by Women in Sustainable Enterprises (WISE) Tonga Inc. in central Nuku'alofa. Stall-holders attracted a crowd who were entertained by local musicians as they browsed the food, handicrafts, jewellery and other products with many locally-made products on display and for sale. Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Tonga's parliament has rejected a Private Member's Bill that sought to change how Tongans elect a Prime Minister and proposing that a care-taker government run government when parliament closes at the end of the month, in preparation for the Parliamentary General Election in November next year.
