Lord Nuku, has been eliminated from the Noble's candidates for Tonga’s General Election, "due to pending legal matters,” the Electoral Supervisor Pita Vuki​​​​​​​ said today. The final tally of registered Tongan voters closed at 64,707 but only Tongans present in the country can vote for the People’s Representatives in tomorrow’s General Election. Vuki is hoping that turnout will improve on the 2021 election when only 61% of voters turned out.

The Electoral Commissioner and Supervisor of Elections, Pita Vuki said the results will be released at the end of the counting, whenever that might be.
