King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u attended the installation of the Tui Nayau, Ratu Tevita Lutunauga Kapaiwai Uluilakeba Mara as the Tui Lau and Sau ni Vanua o Lau on 10 July, at the village of Tubou, on Lakeba island, Lau, Fiji.

King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau’u visited the USA from 27 September to 10 October, the Palace Office in Nuku’alofa reported today. The royal visit was welcomed at the General Conference Seventh-day Adventist Headquarters in Silver Springs, Maryland, the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., and the Loma Linda University Health in the city of Loma Linda in San Bernardino County, California.

HRH Princess Mele Siu‘ilikutapu Kalaniuvalu Fotofili (75) will be laid to rest on Saturday, 3 June at the Royal Tombs, Mala’ekula in Nuku’alofa. 

Princess Mele Siu‘ilikutapu, a cousin of King Tupou VI, has passed away at the age of 75 years. Born in 1948, the Princess was the second of ten grandchildren of the late Queen Salote Tupou III.
