Tonga's national women's netball team overpowered Papua New Guinea 85-42 in their first game of the Australia Pacific Netball series in Sydney, Australia, today, March 21.

The ‘Ikale Tahi ended its tour of the northern hemisphere with a loss against Romania, 32 – 20, in Bucharest on November 20.

The ‘Ikale Tahi team to play the French Barbarians at Twickenham, at 4:00pm UK Time on Saturday 13 November, was confirmed by the Tonga Rugby Union, CEO Peter Harding, who is with the team.

The ‘Ikale Tahi has added nine experienced players to their squad this week in preparation for the game against England on Saturday November 6, at Twickenham Stadium.

Two Tongan swimmers, Finau Ohuafi and Charissa Panuve set new national records in the 25m pool competition at the TSA-AIMG Time Trials in Bangkok, Thailand on October 22 – 24.

Around 36 athletes will take part in the Tonga Basketball play.fiba3x3 Tournament, sponsored by Digicel Tonga, starting on Friday, October 22 at the ‘Atele Indoor Stadium.
