Tokyo, Japan : Japan’s Minister of Defence, Shinjiro Koizumi, called for collective action to “safeguard the Pacific as the ocean of peace” as he opened the 3rd Japan Pacific Islands Defense Ministers Dialogue (JPIDD) in Tokyo on 23 February.
