    : Last month, US President Donald Trump banned or severely restricted nationals of 20 additional countries from entering the United States, expanding the entry restrictions he put in place in June, supposedly to mitigate “national security and public safety threats.” But a cursory glance at the list of targeted countries makes clear that this is just another case of ethnonationalist politics dressed up as an anti-terrorism measure.     : The retail prices for all petroleum products for Tongatapu will increase in the new year, Petrol by 5 seniti/litre, Kerosene by 10 seniti/litre and Diesel by 15 seniti/litre. The price changes were approved by the Tonga Competent Authority to be effective this Friday, 2 January 2026.
