Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Extraordinary flooding on Fonoifua Island, Ha'apai last weekend is concerning Tonga's National Emergency Management Office (NEMO). Berlin, Germany : Corruption is rife in the Asia Pacific region says Transparency International in a recent report revealing just over one in four people living in 16 countries surveyed in the area are estimated to have paid a bribe to access public services. Suva, Fiji : A Nauran national in Fiji, Julien Henrich (22), has been sentenced to three years in jail by a Fijian court for the death of a Tongan USP student, Sione Tufui (22), who was tragically killed after being attacked by a group of boys outside a nightclub in Suva in 2014.
