Nuku'alofa, Tonga : A magistrate has granted bail for a woman, one of two siblings, arrested on 10 February in relation to a police seizure of 15.657kg of methamphetamine in Nuku'alofa. ‘Ana Longolongo Kolokihakaufisi (37) and her brother, a senior reserve bank official Tēvita Nonu Kolokihakaufisi (39), first appeared before a magistrate on 12 February, and were remanded in custody to 16 February. He was not permitted bail and remains in custody.

He has not resigned his defence portfolio after the King withdrew his confidence and consent to his appointment two weeks ago. Nuku'alofa, Tonga : A new “state-of-the-art” 2MWh Cummins Genset generator, commissioned at Tonga Power Ltd's power plant at Anana in Nuku'alofa, yesterday, 14 February, will help meet peak demand on Tongatapu. Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Over 15kg of illicit drugs, allegedly methamphetamine, was seized by the Tonga Police drugs squad over the weekend in two raids on a house at Kolofo'ou and an office.
