On 22 September, Tonga’s national rugby team, the ‘Ikale Tahi, will play England – the world’s largest rugby nation – in their first game of the 2019 World Cup. Ikale Tahi prop, Halani Aulika, has signed with Sale Sharks earlier this week after spending four seasons with London Irish. Aulika also played for Tonga in the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup and was a member of Tonga’s Pacific Nations Cup Squad last year.

Last night's opening match of the Rugby World Cup at Eden Park was a good start for both the 'Ikale Tahi and the All Blacks because even though the All Blacks dominated the first half and scored four tries, the statistics showed that in the second half Tonga dominated the possession of the ball and the territory.
