Nuku'alofa, Tonga : The Land Court of Tonga this morning declared Tupou Tongaliuaki Filo'aulo Aleamotu'a (24) as the lawful holder of the hereditary title Fielakepa, and that his uncle's appointment as a trustee of the Fielakepa estate was null and void, and also that the publication in the Gazette of the defendant's name as holder of the title Fielakepa was made in error. Paris, France : US President Barack Obama in Paris on Tuesday met with leaders of Pacific Island states and other vulnerable island states that are facing significant risk because of climate change, to talk about the need to conclude COP21 with an “ambitious agreement.” He said the voices of the leaders "right here today" were vital in making sure that the agreement that emerges serves the interests of the most vulnerable not just those of the most powerful. Nuku'alofa, Tonga : A tropical cyclone warning for Niuatoputapu has been been cancelled this evening and replaced with a strong wind warning as Tropical Cyclone Tuni moves away from Tonga’s northern islands. Telephone services for the remote Niuas are currently disrupted by the windy conditions.
