Starlink has been granted approval to provide high-speed internet services in Tonga, the Regulator for Communications, (MEIDECC), announced.

The Tonga Form Six and Seven Certificate exam results for 2024, released yesterday 19 December, showed that Tonga High School achieved the most Distinction grades out of eight schools.

There was no tsunami threat from a Magnitude 6 earthquake, centred 136 km west of Neiafu, Vava'u, and north west of Ha'apai at 4:03am today, 16 December, the Tonga National Tsunami Centre reported.
