The Ministry of Education officially released the 2025 Tonga National Form Seven and Six Certificate examination results today, 9 January 2026.
The results were distributed and eagerly picked up by the candidates from their respective schools at 2:00pm today.
Twenty-six schools across Tongatapu, ‘Eua, Vava’u, Ha’apai and the Niuas offered the Tonga Form Six Certificate (TFSC) and a total of 1,414 candidates registered to the exam in 2025, up from 1349 candidates in 2024.
Tonga High School stood out this year with the most achieved Distinction Grades in Form Six for various subjects including: Accounting; Biology; Chemistry; Chinese Language; Computing and ICT; Design Technology; Economics; English; Geography; History; Lea Fakatonga; Mathematics and; Visual Arts.
Tonga High School saw two of its candidates achieving three Distinction grades and two more of their candidates receiving two Distinction grades.
A total of 45 Distinction grades were attained in the Form Six level from the respective schools.
Meanwhile, 16 schools across Tongatapu, ‘Eua, Vava’u, Ha’apai and the Niuas offered the Tonga National Form Seven Certificate (TNFSC ).
A total of 600 candidates registered in 2025, down from 688 in 2024.
Again, Tonga High School stood out this year with the most achieved Distinction Grades in Form Seven for various subjects including; Biology; Computing and ICT; History; Mathematics with Statistics; Mathematics with Calculus; and Visual Arts.
Tonga High School candidates achieved two Distinction grades while the other attained the highest Distinction grade in Mathematics with Calculus.
A total of 19 Distinction grades were attained in the Form Seven level from the respective schools.
