Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Titali To’ia got more jail time when he was sentenced to six-years imprisonment for reckless driving causing the death of Netane Nimo at Veitongo in 2022. Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Tourism operators in Tonga's top destination, say Vava'u is once again being crippled by a lack of air services. The Tonga government-owned Lulutai Airlines withdrew the services of its main SAAB340 aircraft from 17 January 2023, and there's no indication of when a replacement might come into service for the Vava'u and Ha'apai groups. Nuku'alofa, Tonga : School children in Tonga will receive a gift of pencils containing seeds that can be planted after the pencil is used-up. The 10,000 pencils made from recycled paper and containing tomatoes, chilli and mustard seeds, were donated to school children in Tonga by Queen Nanasipau’u on 20 January. Premium content -
