Honiara, Solomon Islands : Tonga is bringing home two gold medals from the 2023 Pacific Games after the national netball team, Tala, won gold at Friendship Hall in Honiara, on Saturday, 2 December. Tonga also bagged a respectable number of silver and bronze medals. New Caledonia won an overwhelming 197 medals at SOL2023 held in Honiara, Solomon Islands, from 19 November to 2 December. -

Dubai, UAE : A State of the Global Climate report confirms that 2023 is set to be the warmest year on record. Data until the end of October shows that the year was about 1.40 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial levels, delegates at COP28 heard. Tonga's Prime Minister Hon.
