A 27-year-old man from 'Anana was arrested for possession of illicit drugs and drugs utensils, in a police operation yesterday, 11 June.
Acting upon information received, Tonga Police stated today that they apprehended the male suspect who was alleged to be selling drugs in the community.
Police arrested the suspect and seized illicit drugs, and also followed up with a search of his residence where they discovered more illicit drugs, drugs paraphernalia, and cash.
The accused is in Police custody while investigations are ongoing.
Tonga Police urged the support of the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station or contact 922.
