    : A two decade long land dispute between two brothers ended last Tuesday 6 March after the Tonga Land Court dismissed the rights of the older brother (The Plaintiff) to re-claim two plots of land that he legitimately inherited because he had taken too long to take legal action against his youngest brother and nephew who had illegitimately re-registered the lands in their name.

Over 750 relief kits have been handed out with more given out this week.

    : After a rush by the Tonga Government to hold a parliament session yesterday 5 March in order to address the urgent needs of the country, it was decided that Parliament will have a two-day break as the Kingdom receives New Zealand’s Prime Minister Hon. Jacinda Ardern who arrives tonight for a one-day visit. Parliament will resume on Thursday 8 March.
