    : The Ministry of Health has confirmed 107 people have been confirmed or suspected to have contracted measles as at 28 October in Tonga with mild symptoms. An extra 2500 doses of MR vaccinations have arrived in Tonga on 29 October to top up stock levels. Measles is highly infectious.

    : The Tonga Supreme Court yesterday, 28 October, dissolved an injunction order issued against the newly established Tonga Ma’a Tonga Rugby League Inc. (TMTRL) and the Tongan Government. This was after the plaintiff, the Tonga National Rugby League (TNRL), agreed to withdraw from legal proceedings on the basis that the Tonga Government reconsider its decision to endorse the TMTRL.
