From Mele Toafa Cattell - I
From Mele Toafa Cattell - I am just curious and wish to know the answer to questions, does not Tonga still owes China and has not pay that loan yet?. If it's true than why is the government keeps borrowing when it's still has a lot of debts not yet paid?. How are they going pay all these loans. Not long ago I read an article that said that China had refused to forgo the debt that Tonga owes! as some Tongan representatives had ask for. I just wonder how much in debt is Tonga owed foreign powers and am afraid of the consequences if the government is not careful.
