    : New Zealand and Tonga Police have confirmed there is a connection between the Tongan male charged in relation to the cannabis bust in Tongatapu and the alleged methamphetamine scam that saw three Tongan men charged in Auckland. The men were named in court appearances this week.

    : Three former FIFA executive committee members banned in a World Cup bidding scandal, including Tonga's 'Ahongalu Fusimalohi, will have their appeals heard no sooner than October, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) said on Monday.
