Nuku'alofa, Tonga : The king in Privy Council on Friday, 27 August 2010 appointed the Prime Minister, Hon. Dr Feleti Sevele as the Acting Governor of Vava'u. In a statement yesterday, August 30, the Prime Minister's Office said that the Acting Governor would travel to Vava'u later this week. Vava'u has been without a governor since the death of Lord Luani in May.
