Nuku'alofa, Tonga : Questions were raised in the Tongan parliament as to why Tonga's King Taufa‘ahau Tupou IV flew economy class to Hong Kong, and why there was no welcome protocol extended to him when he arrived on a trip there earlier this month.

USA : I had recently planned a trip to Niuatoputapu, but had to cancel when Tongan Airlines went bankrupt. Since that time there has been totally confusion and lack of transportation to the Niuas. Now they say the DC3's cannot use the runways. - Dick Watt -
