Good morning.
I had recently planned a trip to Niuatoputapu, but had to cancel when Tongan Airlines went bankrupt. Since that time there has been totally confusion and lack of transportation to the Niuas. Now they say the DC3's cannot use the runways.
Have any airline people ever thought of using seaplanes to the Niuas? There are many airplanes that have the range and certainly could provide services to the islands. This is just a thought that could be relayed to the powers that be. Personally, I will not plan travel to Tonga until a stable transportation is in place.
Thanks for reading.
