    : The sports world is mourning the passing of the late basketball great, Kobe Bryant (41), who is credited for his efforts in boosting the popularity of Basketball around the world. The LA Laker super star and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, were among nine people killed in a helicopter crash in California, on Sunday 26 January.
