Tonga is leading the way in business leadership training for women. Fifteen professional women in Tonga completed a "Women's Business Leadership Program" conducted by the Asian Development Bank, and were presented with certificates on Wednesday, 2 March at Davina House.

But the report also reveals that for students having little or no preparation for a change of lifestyle, settling in to high school is very challenging and can even be dangerous.

Tonga’s Minister of Education, the Prime Minister Hon. ‘Akilisi Pohiva, faced a crisis this week in his move to discard 12 years of development in the national examination system in order to revert to an earlier simpler method called “Raw Marks”.
