Tonga Netball’s Junior Tala qualified for the World Youth Cup set to be held in Gibraltar in Europe in September 2025.
The Junior Talas competed in the U-21 Regional Qualifiers competition, for the Netball World Youth Cup 2025 held in the Cook Islands last week.
The week-long competition saw the Junior Talas lose their first game to Samoa on Monday, 16 September.
However, the young Talas redeemed themselves with three consecutive wins against Fiji, Cook Islands and PNG.
Samoa was undeafeated and won the competition, qualifying for the World Youth Cup along with the Cook Islands’ U-21 team.
