Abandoned newborn wrapped in plastic bag survives cold morning

A newborn baby girl was found alive, after being abandoned in a bush area wrapped in a plastic bag, near By-Pass Road at Halaleva in Nuku'alofa this morning, Friday 22 July. Temperatures dropped to about 18-19C in the early morning.
