    : Three baby Pilot Whales were rescued from the shallow waters of eastern Vava'u, in Tonga, after being stranded for nearly a week. But the mother whale and two other whales that were stranded with the pod died from injuries believed to be caused by a shark attack.

    : Polling in Tonga'’s Parliamentary Election today has been heavy at Pangai Si'i in downtown Nuku'alofa, where voters from Tonga's outer islands were casting their votes for their home areas. The voting booths for the outer islands of ‘Eua, Ha'apai, Vava'u, Niuatoputapu and Niuafo‘ou, ‘Atata and ‘Eueiki located at Pangai Si'i were busy all day.
