Wallaby prop Sekope Kepu has officially retired from international rugby following his team’s defeat to England and exit from the 2019 Rugby World Cup over the weekend. The 33-year-old announced last month that he would retire at the conclusion of Australia’s World Cup campaign and is set to move to England, where he will play for London Irish in England’s Gallagher Premiership.

The Cook Islands are the talk of the Rugby League 9s World Cup after they decimated Tonga’s Invitational team 30 – 7 in the first round of the competition last night 18 October in Sydney, Australia. In order for Tonga Invitational to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition, they will need to achieve two landslide victories over their remaining pool opponents Toa Samoa and Fiji Bati, and hope that the Cook Islands lose at least once.
