Tonga will host a regional "Whales in a Changing Ocean Conference" to discuss whale conservation in the Pacific.The three day event will run from April 4-6, to be attended by delegates from around the Pacific as well as conservationists.

Leaders of the Tonga Red Cross Society Inc. and the Alonga Centre expressed their sorrow at her passing but remembered the Queen Mother's legacy of love, to help and support the elderly and people living with disabilities throughout Tonga.

This comprised $2.65 billion for climate mitigation and $1.08 billion for climate adaptation. In the Pacific, climate operations include the ADB’s proposed Pacific Islands Renewable Energy Investment Program with the support of the Green Climate Fund.
