Wearing colourful floral leis, as well as garlands of sugary lollies more than 300 graduates from three Government Post Secondary and Higher Education Institutes received their certificates and diplomas today, December 7, during a Combined Awards Ceremony, at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.

A two-day Holiday Market Festival was launched at the Tonga Development Bank in Nuku'alofa this morning to showcase and sell the products of customers in their Microfinance Scheme – this year showcasing Vava'u, 'Eua and Ha'apai handicrafts and treasured mats. It will continue on Friday.

A combined Bazaar Day by some of the Free Wesleyan Church schools in Tongatapu was held today Wednesday, September 28 in Nuku’alofa.

Miss Loumaile Lodge, Laura Lauti (20) was crowned as Tonga’s new Miss Heilala 2016 early this morning Saturday 9 July, at the Miss Heilala Ball held at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.
