Tonga's King Taufa‘ahau Tupou IV is healthy and very well, said the king's Acting Private Secretary, Sateki .‘Ahio, at the Palace Office this morning, quashing rumours in the community that the king had died yesterday.

The Hon. Noble Vaha'i of Fou'i was laid to rest this morning, June 3, at the Tutulu Pea Tau burial ground at the village of Fou'i. The funeral procession from his residence to the cemetery was led by the police band, and the police also gave a three-gun salute.

Reggae Superstar Lucky Dube (41) arrived in Nuku'alofa today with his 11 member band gearing up for a one-night concert at the Teufaiva Stadium tomorrow evening, June 1.

The first ever Tongan Schools Judo Championship was held at the Nuku'alofa Judo and Self-Defence Club on Saturday May 14, with players from four schools taking part. Four registered judoka (players), four each from 'Apifo'ou College, and Liahona High School, one from Tonga High School, and one from St Andrew's School competed in the championship bouts.

Nuku'alofa will be a Rasta Town on June 1, when the reggae Superstar, Lucky Dube, will be in town for a one-night concert at the Teufaiva Outdoor Stadium.
