The By-Election to elect a new People's Representative to the Tonga Legislative Assembly for the Tongatapu 10 constituency will be held on Thursday, 13 July.

The death of a former Prime Minister of Tonga and the current Tongatapu 10 People’s Representative to the Tonga Legislative Assembly, Pohiva Tu’i’onetoa (71) was confirmed today. He passed away yesterday, in the United States, where he had gone for medical reasons.
