Tonga's 'Ikale Tahi head coach 'Isitolo Maka this afternoon, August 8 announced the 30-man squad for the 'Ikale Tahi's two pre Rugby World Cup test matches with the Flying Fijians in Fiji on Saturday, August 13 and Friday August 19. The 'Ikale Tahi team will leave for Fiji tomorrow morning, Tuesday August 9, 2011.

On a perfect day for swimming, in bright sunshine and with flat seas, 28 swimmers (17 males and 11 females) took part in the 1.3 kilometer swim and 12 swimmers reached Pangaimotu in less than 30 minutes. They were accompanied by an escort boat and kayaks, starting out from the New Zealand High Commission Compound foreshore on Vuna Road.

By Adam Freier. My new comrade, the ever-positive curly-haired kid, was quickly becoming my newest mate and inspiration. His name was George Smith. Rugby was just a game, and a game to always enjoy. And we did and we both made the Australian schoolboys Test versus New Zealand few days later. What I learnt from George was to be yourself; to not let the game rule you and determine your happiness. The lesson George taught me was to cherish every opportunity that comes your way. Who knows where it will take you?
