Tonga's Youth in Business Challenge 2011 has begun in Nuku'alofa and five finalists out of eight secondary schools who competed were awarded seed capital to start their businesses, at the Fa'onelua Convention Centre on July 6.

Liahona High School leads the first phase of the inaugural Youth in Business - Dream Big Challenge 2010 and the recipient of a cash prize of $3000 pa'anga in seed capital to set up their business.

Following the publication last Thursday of a report by the World Bank's Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) that is heavily critical of the World Bank's own publication "Doing Business," the ITUC has urged the Bank to definitively remove the topic of labour standards from the mandate of "Doing Business," the Bank's headline annual publication.
