Students support teachers and urge leaders to quickly resolve strike

A different colour was added to the national strike at Pangai Si'i this morning when 30 students from various forms at Tonga High School arrived to support their teachers and the public servants.

It is wonderful to see that the high school students of Tonga are politically conscious and actively participating in affairs that affect them and their future.
They showed up in support their teachers, whose stance they also support, but at the same time they are eager for the matter to be resolved so their education may continue. This is truly noble.
I also support their cause and salute the strikers and the students. People must band together to fight oppression, subjugation and the unjust system.
