A different colour was added to the national strike at Pangai Si'i this morning when 30 students from various forms at Tonga High School arrived to support their teachers and the public servants.

Mapa, a prefect at THS, told the crowd that it was their own decisions to march to Pangai Si'i.

"We are showing our support because we want the strike to be quickly resolved so we can return back to school with our teachers," he said.

His answer to the question of who was to blame for the strike was "the leaders of our country".

At Pangai this morning on the eleventh day of the strike, Finau Tutone, the president of the Public Servants' Association, said that their next move was to propose a meeting with Cabinet today to inform them of their intention to submit a Letter of Petition to the King on Wednesday August 3.

He said that the outcome of their proposed meeting with Cabinet would be announced tomorrow, August 2.
