Multiple arrests were made by Tonga Police units, responding to information that illicit drugs were being distributed in the Fonongahina area of Tongatapu.
The operation resulted in the arrest of a 43-year-old male from Ha'ateiho for possession of a Class B illicit drug and drug-related utensils, as well as the apprehension of a 31-year-old male and a 23-year-old female couple from 'Utulau for possession of Class B illicit drugs, and various drug-related utensils, and cash
The four individuals were taken into custody. They have been formally charged and are expected to appear in court.
