A police officer has been suspended due to serious allegations of involvement in fraud, Tonga Police reported today.
The unidentified police officer was suspended pursuant to section 79(1)(a)(b)(c) and (2)(a)(b) of the Tonga Police Act, Police stated.
While on suspension, all police powers and responsibilities vested in them as a member of Tonga Police are also suspended.
