Tonga's State of Emergency renewed

Curfew again? It is not that I doubt the seriousness of the coronavirus spread. We have seen that in Fiji: for more than a year everything was fine there. Then, last April, a soldier involved in the border quarantine service returned to his room, early, which he should not have done because the cleaning lady was still busy there. Then why are our freedoms curtailed with a continuous curfew of which the effectiveness and need is dubious? Do we really need it, or is the Covid scare just a excuse for the government to flex its muscles and show its authoritarian character?
