Climate change “single greatest threat” Pacific leaders agree

All 18 member states of the Pacific Islands Forum, including Tonga, have endorsed the “Boe Declaration” which reaffirms that climate change is the “single greatest threat” to the Pacific Region, in Nauru on Wednesday 5 September, the final day of the 49th PIF Leaders Meeting.

The single greatest threat to the Pacific is Corruption and not Climate Change. Corruption in governments affects the lives of every man, woman, and child in the Pacific. Corruption not only affects the safety and security of the people, but also the economy of every Pacific Islands states.
