Who dubbed the building St George Palace? Has our King George V been given a Sainthood? I hope the building is going to be solar powered to help reduce running costs and ease the burden on the tax paying public.

Was this like a "Grant" from the Chinese government to the Tongan government? If so, why is it that the Chinese "Grant" the money turn around and bring out their own contractor with their own field crew to build the building? This doesn't fall into the "Grant" spirit! It's like they give you the money, come over and build it and pay their own people and take the money back to China and what' left is a cheap building with a few coins for the people of Tonga. Why is it that the Tongan government did not lead on having Tongan Contractor or may be the Government build the structure? Is it because Tongans are not qualify/know how to building these type of structure? Tongan Government should take the lead on projects like these and push that Tongan Contractors build these structures so the money stays in Tonga, "all of it" so it can be consider a "Grant". If one gives (Grant) a "dollar" and said give me back "50 cents" of the dollar, is it still in the spirit of "giving/grant?" Any way, l don't know what was the deal for this building but by pass dealings with China? It's a "BIG" lost for the people of Tonga! If any one want's to know how sad it is when people lose their beautiful island? Go to Fiji or Hawaii...................
